Job Purpose

Job Purpose

This role will deliver timely and relevant, fact-based insights that drive strategic and tactical decision-making, as well as identify opportunities within supply chain activities and processes that impact product availability and working capital. This role supports the daily operations of the business and serves as the Subject Matter Expert for store forecasting and replenishment processes. It also focuses on building technical acumen and strengthening communication skills to translate data-driven insights into clear, meaningful recommendations for non-technical teams.

Essential Responsibilities

Responds to retail stores’ questions and issues relating to all forecasting & replenishment process and procedures. Maintains and optimizes the automated Forecasting & Replenishment (F&R) engine – including but not limited to, Forecast Corrections, Calendar Events, Inventory Transfers, etc. – to improve forecast accuracy, maximize, and optimize store inventory levels. Collaborate regularly with the Manager & Director of F&R & SCA to identify and implement process enhancements that improve product availability, reduce excess inventory, boast inventory accuracy and minimize product handling.

Provides analysis of a range of data types including POS, customer, supply chain and others to provide actionable insights based on a clear understanding of business objectives. Presents analysis, insights, and recommendations to partners across the organization to drive business decisions and advance organization-level insight

Designs and defines analytical methodologies to manipulate and synthesize large volumes of data, utilizing tools such as Power BI to create visualizations that uncover insights and deliver actionable recommendations across strategic initiatives.

Identifies opportunities for simplification and automation in reporting and analysis.

  • Requires an understanding of the retail industry, supply chain, technical knowledge and advanced analytics
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate complex and detailed technical information across all levels and multiple departments.
  • Expert in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Experience with SQL Programming & Data Visualization (PowerBI).
  • Ability to manipulate multiple data sets to provide integrated reporting.
  • Ability to solve complex problems by taking a new perspective on existing solutions; exercises judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.
