Job Purpose | The senior telecommunication engineer supports the voice infrastructure over multiple platforms. Responsibilities include installation, administration and maintenance of the telecommunications equipment. Develop and document standards for the telecommunication system. Provide technical advice and guidance to junior engineers on voice communications and the processes involved in systems support. |

Monitor and Analyze System Traffic and prepare reports. | 20% | Perform maintenance, installations, upgrades, and other technical duties related to the operation of the telecommunications systems. | 10% | Serves as a liaison with internal departments, vendors and other third-party providers. Automate tasks and monitor their effectiveness. Resolves issues other tiers of support have escalated/transferred. | - Demonstrated understanding of telephony and all that it encompasses in relation to trunks, endpoints and any associated adjuncts.
