Job Purpose

Job Purpose

This role is responsible for supporting the execution and delivery of capabilities and customer experiences across our digital solutions. Partners and develops relationships with stakeholders to align with business strategy and quickly respond to opportunities. Effectively prioritizes the roadmap delivery, within the SAFe Agile framework and industry best practices, to deliver the most valuable initiatives for SEG and our customers.

Digital Strategy: Works with business owner team(s) to identify and establish the desired future state. Works closely with leadership and within the SAFe governance structure in the development of a strategic roadmap relating to E2E processes, data, supporting features & functionality, and controls required to ensure dependability, scalability, and defensibility.

Product Execution Oversight: Works with business partners, internal IT teams, and 3rd party development and integration partners within our agile scrum methodology. Responsible for building the backlog of work deliverables in Azure Dev Ops from features down to the detailed user stories, and acceptance criteria. Identifies, assesses, arbitrates, and resolves conflicts and/or variances between functional group sub-processes and customer requirements. Oversees work process standardization, documentation, optimization, and scalability.

Analytics and Optimization: Drives product objectives with business outcomes and success metrics, design thinking, customer feedback and competitive analysis. Monitors Digital performance using analytics tools, Gathers and evaluates data to solve complicated problems rationally through critical thinking, logical reasoning, data analysis and research to optimize technical performance. Analyzes customer feedback to identify customer successes and frustrations to improve the product and customer experience.

Product Sustainability: Works closely with developers, 3rd party integration partners, and other IT teams to maintain digital product functionality, troubleshoot issues, and implement necessary updates. Works across team to ascertain, review, and address the effectiveness and optimization challenges, and works with leadership and across the governance structure to mitigate and resolve risks and issues relating to knowledge and skills, organizational priorities and/or dependencies, change and process improvement challenges. Maintains expertise regarding competition, best practices, and benchmarks.

Stakeholder Communication: Works with leadership to communicate desired future state across relevant departments, functional and sub-process groups. Key outputs will include Roadmaps, Release Notes, KPI Reports, Executive-Level Updates, etc.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required

·   Proficiency in Agile Methodologies (SAFe and Scrum).

·   Proficiency with Product Backlog and Product management tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.

·   Proficiency with application performance monitoring tools (e.g., Dynatrace, Application Insights).

·   Proven experience managing content contributing vendors.

·   Proficiency with analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).

·   Strong project management skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

·   Proven experience managing websites and mobile apps, preferably in a B2C context.

·   Familiarity with content management systems (e.g., Sitecore, Drupal, WordPress).

·   Familiarity with mobile application development (.NET MAUI)

·   Familiarity with content delivery networks (e.g., Akamai, Cloudflare).

·   Familiarity with ADA compliant UX/UI design principles, wireframing, and prototyping tools to enhance user interactions and satisfaction.

·   Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and web development concepts to communicate effectively with developers.

·   Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

 

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Preferred

·   Understanding of digital marketing principles, SEO, and SEM to drive website traffic and improve online visibility.

·   Experience in content planning, creation, and optimization for websites.

·   SAFe 6 – Product Owner or Product Manager certification
